A few weeks ago, I spoke with Thalia Manzo - general manager of the Hilton Hampton Inn in Daly City, California - about building a team culture that earned great guest reviews and helped her become a TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice winner.

"Just go for it"
"What I've learned is if you have something that you want to do, just go for it. You don't know where it's going to lead you to. But if it feels right in your heart, just keep going for it. It's scary and unclear sometimes, but keep fighting for it. It will pay off for you in the end."
