The big idea: Collaborating with destination marketing organizations (DMOs) such as Visit Napa Valley can help you drive more visitors, enhance the guest experience, and ultimately boost your bottom line.
Our goal is to do for the industry what they can't do for themselves.
Why this matters: We’re always looking to attract more guests and provide them with an exceptional experience. However, competing in today's market can be challenging. By partnering with your local DMO, you can tap into their resources, expertise, and marketing efforts to expand your reach and appeal to a wider audience. This collaboration can help you showcase your unique offerings, participate in promotional activities, and ultimately, drive more bookings and revenue for your hotel.
Put this into action:
Reach out to your local DMO and explore partnership opportunities.
Share your unique experiences, packages, and offerings with the DMO so they can promote them through their channels.
Participate in your DMO's events to showcase your hotel directly to potential guests and travel industry professionals.
Collaborate with your DMO on destination-wide initiatives, such as sustainability programs or staff training, to enhance the overall guest experience. (Chuck Davison shared more interesting things with us on this here)
